OK anyway... today we are looking at ORIGAMI! As you probably know, this is all about folding pieces of paper... well yes, you make art with them, and it is a very traditional and popular past time in Japan. People make lots of different things, like animals, flowers and birds... one of the most famous and traditional shapes made out of origami is that of a crane (its a type of bird)- You will see alot of cranes around Japan. -Because they are believed to be 'lucky' - apparently (according to Japanese mythology) they can live to up to 1000 years! :) krustiiwrigles, has left the building!
